Joining the Board of APAG
With great pleasure, I recently accepted a position on the board of the American Photography Archives Group. I have been a member for a few years now in my capacity as representative of the Yousuf Karsh estate and have been attending the quarterly meetings at ICP to discuss the challenges of representing an archive. Our members are a growing, varied bunch, and I have engaged them to talk to them about using the web and the unique issues that arise these days. APAG was established by Mary Engel, who represents both of her parents' archives, Ruth Orkin and Morris Engel. Both are well worth a look.
