ASMP and Photoville

Photoville celebrated its fifth year in 2016. This time the 60 or so exhibitions, installed inside and outside of shipping containers, was located directly under the Brooklyn Bridge. Always glad and grateful to be involved, this year I was invited by ASMP to curate an exhibition for them and partake in portfolio reviews with the general public. Both went really well, but I especially enjoyed giving feedback to people simply by looking at photos on their phones or laptops. Here's one of the delightful students from NYC Salt, a fabulous organization teaching photography to high school kids, very successfully! In fact, I plan to publish a series from one of them in the magazine before the end of the year. Check out all the exhibitions held this year. Photo © Erica Price
